Jon has been in the financial services industry for the past 15 years.

Originally a Financial Planner with a large UK Bank, Jon then set up his own Mortgage Brokerage eight years ago.

In October 2002 this business evolved into The Mortgage Store - with his brother Mark.

Mark has worked within the Mortgage/Financial sector for the past 18 years. His roles have included Financial Planning for one of the UK’s major banks and latterly a management role within a specialist Insurance Company.

He set up The Mortgage Store with his brother Jon in 2002. Their objective is to offer impartial mortgage advice complimented by a real focus on customer service.

David has been a valuable member of The Mortgage Store since inception.

He previously worked for a large UK Retail Bank for 12 years where he gained very valuable experience for his current position through both customer service and management roles.

David has acquired an extensive knowledge of the Buy To Let market helping The Mortgage Store secure a very good reputation within this field.

With David’s professional approach the majority of his business now comes from client recommendations and referrals.

Robin gained much experience working within the international banking market. His understanding of the offshore and non-resident sector has set him in good stead to meet the challenges faced in this more specialist area of lending.

Robin also has a good understanding of the many domestic and commercial mortgage products available through the UK lenders and is well respected within the local business community.

Mike has used his previous six years experience with a large specialist Mortgage and Insurance Company to provide a very personal and professional service.

Although Mike’s core business is offering advice on mortgages he has a comprehensive understanding of mortgage protection products. Mike is highly regarded by many of our clients for providing them with mortgage protection specifically tailored to their needs.

Working for one of the UK’s largest Insurance Companies, Warren soon gained the necessary skills and qualifications to move into the highly regulated mortgage sector. His role previous to The Mortgage Store was as a Mortgage Advisor within the Corporate Estate Agency market. His move to his current role was fuelled by the ability to provide clients with solutions from a far wider range of Lenders.

Warren has built strong relationships with many of the UK’s major builders and has helped The Mortgage Store to penetrate the ‘New Home’ sector.

With over 25 years working within the financial services industry, Jane has built up a wealth of experience.

Jane is highly respected by her clients because of her commitment towards ensuring the process exceeds their expectations.

The willingness to support colleagues and share her extensive knowledge with them makes her a very valuable member of the team.

Nicholas is the latest recruit to The Mortgage Store. He has previously worked in the Telecommunications Industry for 5 years, as a Key Account Manager. Nicholas has gained valuable experience within the customer service and management roles.

Nicholas decided he wanted a new challenge and completed his exams and was signed off 8 months later. He is eager to prove himself in his new role. 

Working for one of the larger financial institutions for the past 18 years, Helen has built up a wealth of knowledge and experience within the financial sector.

Realising that above all a professional, dedicated service to clients is of utmost importance. She has a very good understanding of the domestic mortgage market and specialises in the important areas of protection and income protection for clients. 

Alan began working in the financial sector in 2002. He worked for a well know secured loan company for 18 months before moving into mortgages.

Kerrie is Office Manager at our St Albans branch. She gained very valuable experience having worked within Customer Services for one of the UK’s major Utilities Companies prior to joining us in 2003.

Chloe works as a PA to one of our Senior Advisers , ensuring that their Clients receive a fast, efficient service throughout the mortgage process. She is also responsible for the Mortgage review Database which ensures Clients receive an automatic reminder once their current mortgage rate is nearing its end. This ultimately means that it may be replaced by something far more competitive than those that may otherwise be on offer.

Chloe joined The Mortgage Store in 2002 and has brought with her a wealth of experience from a ‘high level’ support role within one of the UK’s blue chip companies.

Leyla came as a personal recommendation from Jo Burrows who had worked with her in a previous role. Leyla clearly demonstrates a fundamental understanding of what it means to be a strong Customer Support Adviser and has taken to the role very quickly.

Kristy joined The Mortgage Store in May 2007. Kristy comes from a Telecommunications background which has helped her gain valuable customer service skills.

Kristy is a key member of the Customer Services Team and is responsible for the processing of Mark Deane’s mortgage cases, and has taken to the role very quickly.

Gerda joined The Mortgage Store in January 2007. She has previously been employed as an Internal Account Manager with two well known IT companies. Before that she has worked as an International account manager for a software distributor where she gained her valuable customer service skills.

Sam joined The Mortgage store in June 2007. He comes from a retail background having gained 15 years at management level, and attaining a high level of expertise within customer services.

Sam is a key member of the customer support team and is currently studying for his exams as he looks to further his career as one of our Mortgage Advisors.

Lisa joined The Mortgage Store in January 2008. Lisa comes from an administrative background in the Financial Services Industry which has helped her gain valuable Customer Services skills. Lisa is now advancing her skills further with knowledge of the Mortgage Industry.

Lisa is a valuable member of the Customer Services Team at St.Albans and is responsible for the processing of Jon Deane's mortgage cases. Lisa has adapted to her role very quickly and has built strong relationships with clients.

Lisa is also accountable to ensure the upkeep of the new Porters Wood office is maintained to a professional standard.
